We want to be transparent about what we stand for. We put your interests as fans first. But, it is with "balls out" honesty that we must 'fess up and confirm that, at the time of writing, we are yet to confirm our Corporate Social Responsibility and ESG strategy just yet.
Best to be honest about that, up front at this early stage while quickly pointing out the editorial in our newsletter is researched, fact-checked and written by trained journalists.
Our wider purpose is to promote positive mental and physical wellbeing through a love of football.
But to go back to authentic, fan-led conversations via message-first apps, like WhatsApp, for a minute: people rightly expect that technologies, such as Roy the Chatbot, should also be safe, trustworthy and reliable.
As a bootstraped start up within the world wide web armed only with a mission statement, to "be better", a blank canvas, and a lot of tenacity, hope and belief....lets make one thing clear.
We will stumble in a newly emerging field of A.I, but we'll focus on constant improvement. We are committed to taking feedback, learning from it with humility and with a desire and commitment to constantly improve.
Our aim is to build value added conversational services that will benefit fans, communities, employees, teams and brands.
We recognise that we are a custodian of your data and commit to never selling or sharing your data with any party, save for the football club/s you support and their associated sponsored brands, under any circumstances without your explicit permission in plain written English.
In doing so we want to create a sense of trust and belonging within our community by promoting positive mental health and physical wellbeing through a love of football; as well as trying to do the right thing for environmental and social sustainability in football communities worldwide, which is why we've committed to donate 1% of all subscription revenue to carbon removal.
ok.football also wants to make a positive social impact on social issues, as well as environmental ones, balancing profit with purpose, so our promise is that for each eSIM plan we sell we'll contribute towards a football project to help mobilise poorer regions in the world.
Mobile technologies have become an opportunity to boost economic, health, educational and technological development. As smartphones are still in the minority, these services often use basic technologies such as SMS messaging.
But ultimately we want to listen and be shaped by you, the discerning, modern day smartphone owning football fan who spends much of their time on the hoof.
We want to build a progressive, inclusive, responsible and sustainable future.
